The Lust card is another of the Tarot cards renamed by Aleister Crowley. The original title was Strength, but in my opinion Crowley changed the title to be more general and inclusive and represent strength of will and lust for living rather than mere physical strength.
This chapter introduces no new locations, as the first portion takes place in Samantha’s downtown Minneapolis apartment that was introduced in the Priestess chapter and the second portion takes place at the Loring Pasta Bar introduced in the Empress chapter. In the first portion Samantha conveys to Daria, her A.’.A.’. superior, what she has learned so far about the Guild. In the second portion she meets Michael for dinner after stopping by Magus Books.
