There’s a bit of a story behind this one.
My first book on Enochian magick, Mastering the Mystical Heptarchy, came out in 2011, back when many independent publishers were looking into Smashwords as an alternative to Amazon Kindle. An ebook edition was released, but it was only available from Smashwords. A lot of the folks who purchased it there probably just downloaded it in Kindle format and loaded it into their readers, but doing so is an extra step for anyone who isn’t technically inclined and the absence of the book on Kindle meant that it could not take advantage of Amazon’s integrated Kindle marketing.
This omission has finally been corrected, and you can now purchase the Kindle edition of the book directly from Amazon. Of course, for those who (quite reasonably) dislike Amazon’s dominance of the publishing marketplace, the Smashwords edition is still available. This just means that the ebook will now have a distribution channel through Amazon as well, so if that’s something you’ve been waiting for, go for it.
Great post. I’ve found some reviews here http://www.reviewfinds.com/kindlecover.php in case someone needs it urgently. I’m an author too. I understand that great content itself is not enough. A book is as good as its cover.
